Guest speaker Wendy Townley from Omaha will cover nerdy insider tips on Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, and blogging. She's using all of these tools to effectively promote her new book. In Wendy's own words...

Nerdy Thirty, published this spring by WriteLife, is a collection of thirteen humorous essays that recount personal experiences from my childhood, my painfully awkward teen years, a few days in college I’d rather forget, and those leading up to the big three-oh, which happened in December 2008.

I began writing the book nearly six years ago without really knowing it. Last year, after turning thirty, I put “pen to paper” (OK, fingers to Macintosh) and got serious about writing a book, something I’ve talked about for years.

Note: Bring a few extra bucks - Wendy will have copies of her book on hand to sign.
