Event Description

Facebook has made huge changes in their Business Pages and I want to gather the local FB fans to hack around and see what we can do. The new Facebook Pages use standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript like any other Web page so customizing them is a lot more like web development. If you haven't done any web development this might be like gibberish, but everyone is welcome.

I've spent some time and figured out the iFrame custom tab app and can share that process. If you want to walk away from this night with a working custom tab you'll need to have the ability to load a web document to a server. I also have a slick trick to making an embedded microsite in a FB Business Page like this (feel free to like my page as you see fit!):

I was able to secure the computer lab at Upper Iowa University so there is a limit of 20 folks. If you have a laptop, we might be able to squeeze a few more people if we share tables. Sorry for the the lack of notice but 3/2/11 was what worked best for getting into the Lab.
