A "Blog Club", not a "Book Club?"

Last night at the meeting someone was brainstorming ideas of possible events and activities for the SMCDSM and they brought up the idea of a book club featuring books about social media.

And I got to thinking...

Has anyone thought of a "Blog Club?" It's like a book club but someone suggests a blog and we read X amount of past entries and follow it, then meet and discuss it?

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

What happened to this idea?

We have Central Iowa Bloggers meet but its more social and spread among 30-50 people in AM.
