Daniel Pink - 'Drive' Event @ Drake University
Did anyone else from the Social Media Club ranks attend the Daniel Pink event at Drake University this morning?
Mr. Pink is not only a great author, but he provides an informative as well as entertaining presentation. I haven't had the opportunity to read his latest book 'Drive' yet, but will be doing so soon. Anyone that has read it, what are your thoughts? What did you find of value between the dustcovers? :-)

Daniel Pink talks about the "20% Rule", giving employees 20% of their time at work to work on 'non-commissioned' work. This clearly from examples and studies cited shows promise in developing innovative ideas for businesses. My question is in a time-strapped society how can we as employees encourage management to embrace this practice?
