Social Media Club Des Moines

If you get it, share it

I'm looking to restart the Facebook Hack Nights to mess around with all of the latest changes made to Facebook Business Pages. I've got a pretty good handle on using FB apps with iFrames to make custom tabs. I even have a trick up my sleeve to open this process up to non-coders.

I'd like to get the next Hack Night set up in a computer lab somewhere so we can share a little easier (and hear each other). I have a couple of ideas for locations and will post the event here on the Ning when I get a place secured. Until I can get the Hack Night set up, here's a great article outlining the basics of setting up an iFrame on your Biz Page:

Wow! Thanks for the invite. The link to the step by step is great stuff, but I definately think that a hack night would help to navigate. Keep me posted.
Ben - you rock - thanks for taking a lead on this and sharing your know-how with the group!
Always a good investment of my time, I look forward to it Ben. Others -- do take advantage of this FREE training.  (At least historically it's been free, but Ben - I think most would gladly pay a little something). You'll learn hands-on from Ben and others who are there to offer a myriad of helpful tips, often beyond Facebook topics. It's a format that works for novice and expert alike.
Thanks for the shout out Dan - I am working on securing a computer lab for the next Hack Night and as soon as that happens, it's game on!

Great news, Ben!  I don't play with FB enough and know my page needs some help.

Count me in, Ben.  I would love to learn more regarding facebook.  I have three different fan pages I administer and I only know what I know!
Egad! I am not feeling well at all and I am supposed to stop at the Dwolla event tonight. Keep me posted on other events like this. Thanks Ben!
