Greetings SMCDSMers!

Here's hoping that all of you had a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving. Welcome back to the flow of a regular work week. We've got a few events to tell you about that you might be interested in!

Social Media Club Breakfast, 7:00 - 8:30 AM
Palmer's Deli and Market,  2843 Ingersoll Ave, Des Moines

After a week of large meals and leftovers, maybe the last thing you want to think about is more food. But everyone has to have breakfast, right? Of course you do! It's the most important meal of the day!

Come down to Palmer's on Ingersoll tomorrow morning and join Social Media Club Des Moines for a little bit of networking. 

Palmer's will be offering two breakfast specials:

• $3.50 - pastry, fruit and coffee
• $5.50 - bacon, eggs, pastry, fruit and coffee

Lava Row Lunch: Business Blogging 101, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Lava Row, 100 Market Street #115, Des Moines

Our friends at Lava Row are hosting another installment of their Lava Lunch series. If you're looking for a way to effectively incorporate blogging into your company's communications plan, they've got some great ideas for you.

Refreshments and catered lunches will be provided. We’ll get started at noon, but feel free to stop by between 11:30 and 12:00 for some good, old-fashioned networking.
