Join Social Media Club Des Moines and the Iowa Chapter of the American Marketing Association next week for happy hour at Splash Seafood Bar & Grill!

Mix and mingle with other Des Moines metro professionals and enjoy appetizer, drink specials and door prizes.

In an effort to connect with an introduce new members to our community, Social Media Club Des Moines will periodically reach out and ask a few questions of someone at random. 

This week, we spoke to Yas Kuraishi and here's what he had to say!

What prompted you join SMCDSM?

The need to create iapps24.com's brand awareness locally prompted me join SMCDSM.

What are you looking for from a group like SMCDSM? 

I am looking for to socialize, get to know other business folks in town, talk about what we all are trying to accomplish in our jobs or businesses, and see if there is anything we can do to help each other.

How do you use social media? 

We use social media to promote our mobile phone apps and for networking and product research.

What is your favorite thing to do in Des Moines?

Taking a late afternoon stroll in the raccoon river park and riding motorcycle with friends to the towns around Des Moines.

What's your favorite hashtag on Twitter?
